Laghi Trigoria is an angling sports association which includes two fine lakes and a chalet used for dining surrounded by a thick and florid wood rich in age-old oaks, poplars, acacias and an abundance of flowers. In addition its grounds are crossed by a stream with crystalline water. It is a true jewel set in the green of the Roman countryside, ideal for the whole family and particularly for fishing enthusiasts.
On Thursday and Friday mornings, spinning is allowed (spoon-bait, minnows), and fly fishing is in the smaller lake, while other techniques (trout fishing, with bombarda weighted floats or float fishing) are allowed at all times in both lakes.
How to get there: from the Grande Raccordo Anulare (ring road), take exit 25 (via Laurentina) towards Trigoria.
Rules: to be able to fish here, anglers must purchase the F.I.L.P.S membership card (which can be bought on the spot).
Fish: trout, chars, sea trout, grass carps, sturgeon
The association is in Via Grotte di Penseroni, 94 (Via di Trigoria), Roma. Phone 340/1708571; laghitrigoria@hotmail.com; www.laghitrigoria.it
