HISTORICAL ITINERARIES

In this section you will find all the information to plan your route to discover the Province of Rome territory. Here there are 13 travel proposals that, just few km from the hectic pace of the City, will allow you to immerse yourself into the history of the Roman consular roads, to know many monuments, patches and wonderful squares of Roman towns built, in the Centuries, long their route.

PARKS AND RESERVES

A section to discover the green spaces that surround the Roman countryside: mountains, secular forests, caves and suggestive gorges. From the Simbruini Mountains top to the protected species of Palo Oasis, from the archaeological beauty along Appia Road to the evidences of the Etruscan age in Tolfa Mountain

It will be like putting your hands in a drawer full of delights Quality equestrian centres will be the places from where you could leave to discover the connective tissue that holds Rome. Hikers can follow the paths of protected areas. For each itinerary is then indicated the age, the training level and the interest.

TRAIN ROUTE BY BIKES

Ideal for people who love emotions on two wheels, this section reserves many opportunities for bike rides and mountain-bike excursions. In order to realize long distance routes, besides the bike route there is the train one as well, to allow people to reach their destination and easily return to the starting point.

FISHING

To fully appreciate and enjoy Rome and its province also means to dive into its pure nature delving among rivers, streams and the sandy shores of the sea, healthily spending time fishing while at the same time respecting the surrounding environment and its ichthyic heritage.
